MITECO is working on an Action Plan to promote the management of the Biosphere Reserve Network.

The Ministry for Ecological Transition, through the Autonomous Agency for National Parks and in collaboration with the Biodiversity Foundation, will work with those responsible for managing Spain's Biosphere Reserves to develop a framework for action that will promote the development of the territories where they are located and transform these protected areas into examples of excellence, combining nature conservation with rural development.
