MITECO presents a new LIFE project to promote land stewardship.

The Ministry for Ecological Transition and the Demographic Challenge (MITECO) presented this Friday a new project, co-financed by the European Union's LIFE Programme, aimed at promoting land stewardship as a social tool for nature conservation and restoration. This project, LIFE CUSTODY: Environmental Governance: An Innovative Mission to Improve Biodiversity Conservation Through Land Stewardship, is being developed within the framework of the European Biodiversity Strategy 2030, the new European Regulation on Nature Restoration, and international agreements, through innovation and collaboration between administrations, land or rights holders, businesses, NGOs, and other entities.
