NOTICIA

The Ministry for Ecological Transition, in collaboration with France and Andorra, has launched a project to recover the grévol in the Pyrenees. This bird is included in the list of species extinct in the Spanish natural environment, approved by the last Sectoral Conference on the Environment and published in the Official State Gazette (BOE) on August 18. Its recovery is being carried out within the framework of a declaration of intent signed by Spain, France, and Andorra for the reintroduction of populations of endangered wild species extinct in the Pyrenees, such as the ibex and the grévol.
